The United States Plans to Install 3.8GW of Energy Storage Capacity from November to December 2023

According to statistics from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the newly installed capacity of energy storage system above 1MW in the United States in October 2023 was 0.18GW (the forecast value last month was 1.08GW), -73% year-on-year and -69% month-on-month.

From January to October 2023, 4.56GW of new energy storage capacity of 1MW and above was installed in the United States, a year-on-year increase of 21%.

The actual installed capacity data in October was lower than the forecast given last month.
